Amalfi Coast Day 4-Valle Della Furriere…Take 2?

Today the plan was to take the Sita bus back to Amalfi, then catch another bus up to Minuta/Scala and do the Valle Della Furriere hike we missed the other day. Well the Sita bus, which runs along the Amalfi Coast, is never on time if it shows up at all. When it does show up, it is usually full of people and the driver doesn’t let anyone else on. Even if people get off. Ifnyounare not at one of the end points for the bus, don’t count on it. Praiano is not an endpoint. Anyway, we waited for atleast an hour or more and the bus finally came and it was packed full. Fortunately, we met another couple from near Manchester At the stop and we chatted with them the whole time. She was a personal trainer and he a retired detective. We had much to talk about and enjoyed conversing wi ghem. By this time it was lunch so we decided to get something to eat. We said goodbye to the couple from Manchester, but we had a feeling we would cross paths again. They were staying in Positano, so we could bump into them there since we were headed there tomorrow.
We had a nice lunch and headed down to the sea cove below our hotel. We relaxed and enjoyed our bottle of wine from Rafael while watching the waves crash on the rocks. I took a few photographs as well. I also jumped in the little pool at our hotel while Denise read. We had dinner at the same place we had lunch and it was quite good.
Something is keeping us from doing the the Valle Della Furriere hike, so we can take a hint. It was a good mellow day and you have to enjoy those days too on vacation. Tomorrow we plan on hiking the “Pathway of the Gods”(Sanglo Deglei Dei) to Positano. We will take a bus from Praiano to Amalfi, then another to Bomerena/Angelero where our hike begins.
