IMLP Training Week 4-Recovery

Another week down and 22 more to go. This week was a much needed recovery week and it fit in well with the funeral activities on Wednesday. Although I did end up running after the funeral on the treadmill. It was a good time for reflecting on the day. Thursday was a total day off and I was eagerly looking forward to reclining on the sofa watching TV after work. Unfortunately, that night of sloth was quickly put to end when my wife distributed a list of chores that needed to be done around the house. I did manage to get a little couch time and it felt pretty good.
I could feel the recovery working since I felt very fresh during my long weekend workouts. I ended up extended all of them by a few minutes here and there. Hopefully I will not pay for that next week. I also got over to the Endurance Sport Expo near Valley Forge, PA which I covered in a previous post.
Next week I will start ramping up again. Should be a bit challenging since I will be attending a training class most of the week near Philly. I think it should be doable though. My biggest question is what the lunch scene will be down there. I located a couple vegan places nearby, so I hope they don’t provide lunch there. I am sure it will be crap if they do.
Time to hit the rack, early swim tomorrow.
